I did not receive an email from the Purolator until the Friday after my interview July 23rd.  My interview was July 21st. I am thinking they send them out on Fridays, so hopefully you will geta notification tomorrow

I am in the same boat. I have not received an email from the Consulate that my passport has been dispatched. Eagerly waiting for the notification

Looking forward to finally being home for good with the hubbins!!

@Patelsn7 a big (L) and CONGRATULATIONS to you and your spouse!

Thank you so much, we both are so excited. Feels unreal sometimes that this is actually happening

Congrats !

Question : My visa status was updated to "issue" this Tuesday (saying I should received it within 5 days) on the CEAC link. But I haven't received the email from Purolator. Is this normal? Thank you.

I am waiting for the notification as well, my interview was on July 23rd and no notification yet. I guess we will need to patiently wait one more time

Oh boy, I'm not patient by nature, this whole immigration process was a test till the last minute ! What am I saying, there is still the SSN and Greencard step ... 😆
Thank you Riversong, good luck in your move !

Hahaha right?! I just paid the immigration fee lastnight, so hopefully that will make getting my SSN and Greencard faster.

Do you need to wait until the visa comes to pay the immigration fee? I was trying to be proactive but I couldnt find the information to plug in lol.

Hello everyone, I just reviewed my DS-260 form again for part 5 (Previous U.S travels). There's a question that ask: "Have you ever been issued a U.S. Visa?" My answer is NO.

I travelled from Canada to California to visit my wife many times. Did I suppose to say YES for that question? Im not sure if that question was asking about immigration Visa or just any type of visas in general.

The correct answer is "NO."

If it is not indiscreet, when was your interview and email saying your visa is being sent ? Also which area of Canada ? Asking that because I'm trying to guess for my own case (living in AB)

I think we need to wait for our Alien number which should be in the Visa Stamp... are we paying it using the CEAC website ?

Hi I live in Vancouver. My interview was on July 19, and my visa status was changed into 'issued' on July 21. I received the email saying my visa being sent on July 23. Picked it up yesterday. Hope this helps!
