Thanks - found the email and we are also waiting on hold for the NVC, but I doubt they can help.

Has there ever been staggered IL's sent out? We see 24 from the last batch and only 14 so far this time

There was one time when ILs were sent twice in a month. But ILs are always sent chronologically. I have only seen a few exceptions where people were skipped for no reason at all, as far as we could tell. They emailed asking for expedite, never got a reply but were scheduled first available date the following month. 
 

Good idea calling NVC. If you don’t get through try on Monday morning at 7am sharp. You will definitely get through without any wait. Do let us know what they tell you.

 

The numbers on our spreadsheet are just what we see reported here on VJ, so it is not an accurate representation of volume.

Thanks again for all the info! Sorry for all the questions on this thread - we are just very anxious and stressed as my husband as been stuck away from myself and our two kids under two for most of their life. We were really hoping for some closure this month.

Yes, 7am EST. Sorry for not specifying. They start at 7am, so calling on any weekday at precisely 7am gets you in straight away. Good luck!

Sure do! We received our interview notice last night, 10/14 for interview date of 11/9.

Congrats to everyone who got ILs this month. So happy to see Montreal picking up speed. I just crossed into the US today and activated the IR-1 at Pearson. Was a pretty quick process, took about 45 minutes, mostly waiting in secondary inspection. Despite the very long wait for the interview, I am happy to report the interview through to activating the visa was a simple and fast process. Thanks VJ’ers for being the bright spot in this difficult process! Good luck to all still waiting for ILs.
