I130 bypassing previous marriage date

I’m asking for a friend who is filling out the I130 form online. I searched this a couple days ago and I can’t find the page that said what to do, anymore.

 

She does not have any previous marriages so how would she fill out the spot with the date for when previous marriage ended? Is this a way to bypass this. She has tried leaving it blank but continues to get an error message.

This is very easy. If you read the I-130 Instructions " On how to fill out form I-130" on page 4. # 3. It clearly states the following:

 

"Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks, “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed."

The form will not allow you to type a slash.  When a question is Not Applicable, type it out.  When the question is applicable but the answer is "None", type NONE.
