Photos together for interview

Hello,

My wife did her interviews last week, the officer asked if she brought any photos of us together to the interview and my wife answered that we didn't know we had to bring photos and it was not in the interview appointments email list.

So the officer just answer it's ok.

Is that something I should be concerned, should mail some photos with the passport or just ignore it.

Please advise and thank you.

Hi,

The interview was done and is over. If the officer said "it's OK" and did not ask for it any further then I would not send it.

As a general rule during this whole immigration process I have found that you don't send anything that was not asked for. USCIS, NVC, and the Embassy have no problems giving your an RFE or some other request for documents if they want it. Ergo: if they are not explicitly asking for it they don't need it.

I think if you start sending things they did not request it can either disrupt the processing, or even generate more questions or delays.
