Hi guys,

We had our green card interview on April 20 of this year. The officer needed some extra documents which we submitted them June 8th. We are still waiting for the green card. How long does it typically take? The officer mentioned something about 90 days but not sure if it was when we would get the green card or not.

120 days from June 8.  After that call USCIS, say info pass, and request a tier officer tell you want is going on

Will the status on the USCIS page change from Interview Was Scheduled? It still says that when I enter my number.

Maybe.  Sometimes a card just shows up.

My wife still has not received the green card. Is it normal? Is there something we can do to speed it up?

Is your case approved?

Not quiet. We had our interview on April 20th. We were sent an RFE which we replied on June 4th. There has been no word since then. The officer said on the interview that our green card should take about 90 days.

Have you done this yet?

You are past 120 days.  Do that next.

Done that. They still give out the standard answer that we are still within the 28 months that it typically takes. Nothing more. I have also reached out to our representatives office so they can look into it.

I think that is the correct move.

My status finally changed to New Card is Being Processed. How long typically till we get the card?

Congrats.  Did your congressional representative do anything for you?

Expect your  card any where from 2 days to the end of the month.

Set up USPS informed delivery and literally camp outside your mail box on the day the card is due. I’m literally talking cooler, bbq, chair, and umbrella.  Keep checking the delivery status. If the carrier comes and goes without your card then chase after the carrier.
