When do you pay the $35?  It says that in the wedding link but doesn't mention when to pay.

You will receive text and email reminder exactly 24 hours of the ceremony, the link for payment will be there.  You can pay then until prior to ceremony session.   Should the ceremony do not start on time, just call the number on the email.  We started 8mins past.. they had tech difficulties plus after long holiday syndrome, our ceremony being the first in the morning for the week.

Yes!  Our officiant (Ben) asked if we are exchanging rings, he is prepared for it and have message about it prior to exchanging rings.  He also asked if couple have vows to each other, it was an added touch and memorable part (we read our vows from our phones ☺️).  You are also given permission to record, but since our minds are into the ceremony, I did not set recording correctly and nothing was saved.  I emailed them, and they sent me a link to download recording.  We are also all dressed up for it!  Me wearing my wedding gown and hubby wearing traditional Barong, and both of us wearing our Jordans🤣.  I even have a boquet of flowers!  Our witnesses all dressed up too, plus others.  We probably have at least 25 (with face) connections and more hidden faces.  With different timezones, a lot are in their pajamas and stay hidden! Hahaha.   I also requested screenshots from my friends, that turned out very well too!

There is nothing to be nervous about, this pandemic-style ceremony is all fun too!

My step son is writing vows. Do you think it will be OK in Tagalog?

Of course!  It is for the Bride, whatever their hearts desire and comfortable with 😊

Have you tried to file ROM yet?  Congrats on making it to the Philippines.  We are going over the next couple of months and it is such a hassle to get everything in place!

Thank you.  Still got at least a couple of weeks to enjoy however we can safely.  Hoping by the time you travel, the CQ have eased up in proper places and maybe less quarantine.  Wishing you great times!

Someone made a painstakingly detailed but accurate YouTube video on filing the ROM for Online Marriage.

Just a reminder that you'll have to meet in-person after the Zoom wedding and before filing the I-130: https://fam.state.gov/fam/09FAM/09FAM010208.html "Consummated: For the purpose of issuing a visa to a “spouse,” a proxy marriage that has been subsequently consummated is deemed to have been valid as of the date of the proxy ceremony. A proxy marriage consummated prior to the proxy ceremony cannot be considered a valid marriage for visa adjudication purposes unless it has been consummated subsequently."

What is the approximate cost for all involved with getting the webwed, zoom wedding, also if anyone knows the costs involved with the Philippine embassy in the US getting the 9a paperwork to travel to the Philippines? I’m not vaccinated, so also am wondering if I would be allowed in the Philippines for a few weeks again. I lived there for 3 years up until February 2021, then left for the US. Thanks for the help.
