Good morning family, we're starting to prepare for AOS. I'm the petitioner, my fiance will be on my insurance at work. My son is currently on Soonercare (similar to Medicaid) that I pay a share of cost for, I make well over the financial requirements for Affidavit of Support, but he still qualifies for the SOC program, will this reflect poorly on us with the AOS if I keep him on this? (Please don't be mean to me, I pay my taxes and this is the only thing I get help with from the government)  Thank you.

You mean your son who is a US citizen, right?  If so, there's no issue.

If you were talking about a step-son who came on a K2 visa, it could be a problem.

What is the plan for providing insurance for the intending immigrant?
