Need help understanding NVC updates

Hello,

i just got a update from NVC to check my case and my civil documents and affidavit of support have been changed to “accepted status” so that’s good news.
But IV application is showing “completed” and I got two messages. One is Please submit every 2020 W-2/1099 form for (the sponsor)

2nd message is Please add (Beneficiary) as a Household Member under sponsor . All documents for beneficiary  should be submitted under their own name.

Does this mean I have to redo the IV application?
Or bring those to interview or something. I’m not understanding this. Could someone please help me here if you have experienced this.

lastly, if I have to resubmit docs how long is it normally taking for them to get to them. Any experiences?

thank you so much!!  really appreciate it.

Hello! You need to submit all requested documents and usually it takes 1 month for NVC to review them again. If it is ok, then you will get a email that you are documentary qualified. That means that you are in the queue for Consulate/Embassy interview. The timeline depends on Country and visa backlog due to Covid 19

I suggest calling NVC to clarify the second note before you make any changes. Once you submit the W-2/1099s and make the other change, the review time is based on the new submission date (7-8 weeks currently) so it is definitely worth checking with them to get it right. It's a brutal process!

Thanks so much for your response. One another question where do i upload the W-2s? because all the docs are approved already and i dont see a place to upload in the application.

Do i just go back to the affidavid of support and add under additional docs?

Yes! Just add an additional doc and then you can choose the label that says W-2. I thought it was weird to add another document as well as my AOS said 'accepted' on the main page but that's what they wanted...

Okay thank you!!!
And last question on this. I have two W-2s but from same company. Should I put them in same pdf  document or attach them separately?

sorry for so many questions I just don’t want to make any mistakes again and be put in the back of line :(

I would join them into one PDF if you can. You could add a comment pointing out that you have two. I know that feeling exactly! I was so worried I would end up with a third wait.
