I have heard they ask the typical COVID screening questions at the door but only mention of it was a post from April. My interview if after August 9th (new COVID restrictions for fully vaxxed) and wondering if I will be let in the consulate if fully vaxxed and have been out of the country within 14 days….

any recent interviews in Montreal hear the screening q’s?

They go with travel restrictions in Canada. So if ur fully vax u will be ok I would say to bring ur proof with you.

Just scares me bc I can’t get an actual response from the consulate. It’s generic responses. I’m double vaxxed but can’t imagine showing up and a security guard turns me away.

It was talked in the cr1 topic under Canada there was screen shots of Montreal’s emails about it too

Mantonello Were you able to find an answer? I have read through reviews and other posts and was not able to find anything. I have the same issue and not sure if I need to cancel my trip before the interview date. Fully vaxxed.

@Twiz&Toz I wasn't able to locate the post with the screenshots of the reply- any chance you could send that to me?

I have sent an email, however the response time says up to 5 business days, and with the interview date approaching, I am afraid to leave things so late.

Thank you in advance for your help!

@mkimimiHave you heard anything from the consulate? I'm in the same boat!

Yes, they said they are following the rules for entry into Canada via email, so my trip is ok. I was also able to call in to the official phone line and speak to a live agent to confirm. Here is the phone number, if you wanted to also confirm your details with them: Montreal438 793 1947  Safe travels!
