Hey guys,

Great news today, yesterday 10/27/2022 my I-130 got approved and today 10/28/2022 my I-485 got approved!

No interview, just like that. I used my Advance Parole last month to travel internationally, no problem at all!

Congratulations! Our interview was also waived. Logged in to our USCIS account today and the status said “case approved”. Clicked on documents and was able to download our approval notice. Processing time for my field office is currently 31 months, so this was very unexpected. 🥹

I personally would send it the same week of your anniversary, as close to it as possible, say even the day of. Approval will come after your anniversary and avoiding ROC and getting a 10 year GC.

All the best to you!

Hi,

Personally I would send everything ASAP for the peace of mind. It's rare that USPS or USCIS loose your mail but it could happen and at least you will have time to resend it in case. Just follow your guts, it might also be worth a try to avoid the I-751.

After hearing nothing for over a year I got in contact with USICS this morning... The agent stated my case was moved to the local field office in September of 2022 and that local processing times were approximately 25 months....

So, it sat around for 13 months, doing nothing, and now it's going to sit around for another two years?!? Are you F'n serious? This whole thing is a joke.
