Hi All, got my biometrics scheduled today!

 

08/04/2021: Sent package (i-130, i-485, EAD, AP)

08/05/2021: Lockbox receipt notice

08/09/2021: NOAs in my mail box for all forms

08/30/2021: Received online account mail

09/30/2021: RFE

10/30/2021: Biometrics scheduled (NYC) on 11/23/2021

It has been since late August and we still don't have our Biometric appointment.  is it normal to take this long?

In the letter notice it say if they determine that we need one, we will get one otherwise we don't.  Any suggestion!  thanks!

Yes it is normal to take this long. It can take 4 months or even more to get your biometrics scheduled. So be patient and it will arrive before you know it.

Hey guys ! Good news to share! My status was changed to “ interview was schedule” on Nov 2. It took 54 days since Bio appointment. 

i checked the website, they haven’t uploaded the letter yet so I don’t know when my interview will be. But I guess it might be in December.

 

Don’t lose any hope and stay patient, I believe good news will fly to you very soon.

Thanks! I didn’t expedite anything. Me and my husband are both shocked about the speed. And we think 1)we are lucky , 2) our paperwork was prepared well enough, 3) local office is not busy …

We applied for expedite for I-765 On 10/19/21, we received an email from USCIS yesterday 11/19/21 asking for my wife’s job offer letter by fax. We faxed it off, now waiting again.

Any early August filers have interviews yet? We filed July 30, and have NOA from Aug. 2. I am seeing updates coming in from a few people around the middle/end of July get interviews scheduled for early next year. Our biometrics have been done and we already responded to an RFE for the I864.

Yes, here's our timeline:

August 2nd - filed

August 9th - NOA

November 3rd - Biometrics

December 9th - Interview

December 17th - Greencard received (best Christmas present we could have asked for!)

 

I suspect it depends on how busy your local field office is. I hope you get your interview scheduled soon 😃 Happy holidays!

Yes I did, also I just noticed in the notice in my online account that it’s a combo card so AP approved as well.

Just checked USCIS today and we got a notice for our interview today! The notice itself wasn't posted so we don't know the date yet but we're excited nonetheless. 😊

 

We had an RFE for it back in October and only after checking the site were we notified. A month had passed so we possibly could have had an interview sooner. Nothing still has come in the mail.

 

No word yet on the I-765 or the I-131. Looks like we may not even need the I-131 after all.
