Hello quick question if you do get your IR visa and then come to the US after the Interview and Pay the 220.00 for your green card. Am I able to travel outside USA while I am waiting for my physical green card?

Actually I had IR1 Visa until 25JUL2021 and entered USA before the expiry of IR1. IR1 Visa was endorsed with the entry date 18JUL2021. I haven't received the plastic green card yet, it can take another couple of months. My mother in law's health is not good and I have to travel to India. Is it ok to travel to India and then in the mean time plastic/physical card arrives in USA, someone ship it to me to India and then I travel back using the plastic card or if not plastic card then still can come back using the expired IR1 visa in the passport with endorsement?

USCIS will not hold the Green card printing process just because I left the county temporarily?

Your IR1 visa may be expired but your temporary green card (in your passport) is not.  No need to risk losing your plastic green card in the mail.  Just present your visa with CBP stamp when you travel back to the US.

No.  GC printing is not dependent on your continued physical presence in the US after your very first entry with your visa.  You will continue being an LPR even when you leave the US without your plastic GC.
