I size the IE window in Outlook to make it look like it is the preview pane.......the only thing that gives it away are those darn smileys on the left when I'm typing something.

you know what sucks. my boss is my brother and he's such a you know what about me being online even tho 99% of the day there is NOTHING else to do here!

A lot of what I do involves running database queries.....takes some time and uses up some resources so I toggle back and forth with VJ throughout the day while the stuff is running.

I worked full time for Mad Science and left there to work here. However, I still work part time for them, as it's a great part time gig as well.

After the baby is born I get to be stay home mommy and still do mad science on the side. I just need my flexibility (for the kids) back, and something to exercise my brain more than this!

The next semester I turned into their Illinois side of the river equipment person + did the classes. Then I went to work in the office full time as the equipment manager / instructor / birthday party person. Now I am the Illinois Equipment Manager + do birthday parties and workshops and stuff.

It's great fun. I teach little kids science in a "showy" kind of way. And I get to play with really cool stuff like a van der graff machine and a tesla coil

it's pricey but totally worth it for the kids. Heck, I know adults that want me to do the birthday parties for them because they are so cool.
