Hello everyone,

 

I am writing for some guidance. I filed my K1 application in July 20, 2020 and was approved as of April 27, 2021. Since then it’s been at the NVC - I have a case number and ID, only because I called them. I was wondering if I should go ahead and file those forms (e.g. DS260 etc.) online or do I wait for contact from the embassy in Montreal?

I also filed an expedite request as my fiancé came back recently from a deployment, and is active duty.

 

Any help is appreciated.

What was your basis for an expedite?

You can do it now but why not waiting till the case is at the embassy? 💁🏽‍♀️ And right form for K1 is DS-160.
