My husband and i are separated. He did receive his 10 year after the separation at the interview we told them but they ask us were we working on the marriage and if so what were we doing he said   counseling. That never happened. Then they ask me was he beating me i said no. He did and i sent the police report. I basically was used again. Smh he received the green card 10 year. But as soon as he got it

He started treating me like trash. He filed for all his kids and his n400 to be a us citizen in 3 years. So i files for a divorce 3 weeks ago. He filed and theu recieved his n400 june 2021. I was told it maybe an issue because i have to stay married until the interview the day of swearing. He has not had his green card 3 years and they may investigate. We never filed taxes or have proof of evidence that's why i am shocked he got it. What will happen

all of us go thru extensive documents to prove relationship is real (K1 or CR1)

and he came and u married him

and then you thru the AOS for the 2 year green card again you proved relationship is real

once again ,  there is nothing you can do at this point

the relationship is real by immigration standards and your proofs of it

divorce,  forget him and move on

and hope he does get his citizenship with a divorce waiver as it relieves you of responsibility of the support or otherwise u are still held to the terms of the AOS

Almost 3 years later and you still don’t love yourself enough to do what’s best for you, your peace. My heart goes out to you.

You helped him come over, you helped him get the 10 year card. So now him getting his citizenship is inevitable, whether it be 3 or 5 years. He’s keeping you around because he thinks he needs you to complete the process. Once he gets his citizenship, he may cut you off for good. Sooner or later you will HAVE to move on. For your sake, I hope you get the healing you need sooner rather than later.

True.

The healing is aside from your question.

Just making sure you understand him getting his citizenship is inevitable. If you are married he can file under 3 years rule. If he is not married, he will have to wait 5 years. But he will get it. Domestic violence is a deportable offense. You missed your chance by protecting him. You helped him get over. You helped him get the 10 year card. They have all the proof they need and granted his permanent residency accordingly. They will not investigate anything.

Oan… It’s not my business but I pray for your sake his income alone is enough or he has other co-sponsors and you aren’t helping him sponsor all his kids, further putting yourself on the hook with no ties to him.
