Swab test for 12 year old child

Hi everyone, I just want to asked if a 12 year old child need a swab test or negative result flying back to the US? Today is my child's 12 birthday and I finally able to bring her to the States. Our flight is on Monday August 2.

Yes, she needs proof of a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/pdf/Global-Airline-Testing-Order-RPWSigned-Encrypted-p.pdf "every passenger—2 years of age or older—"
