Yes. To us (and probably to the consulate and USCIS) a marriage on the first visit, with somebody from a high fraud country that has a cousin that desperately wants her in the US, with a family that is highly invested in the process, it is.
People that post situations like these here in VJ get upset with our “judgments”, which are based on what we read. They don’t realize that this is like a training for when they are in front of an IO. But to each their own.

This group is toxic now. It was much better few years ago.  Judgmental people who have no better thing to do.
do you understand all the circumstances? You have no shame in saying again n again fraud country? Who gave you this right. This shows your roots and mindset.
will she be the first coming here from Pakistan after arrange marriage? You have no respect for other cultures. who told you marriage on first visit. Boy belongs to Pakistan and went there ,one year ago before marriage. One year, after he came again toUSA, they talked on phone and decided to marry.  This shows really who you are and your mentality. Don't tell me what visa officer will ask and assume. They know our culture and marriages. There are plenty of ladies who r here after arrange marriages. If you cant digest this concept, it does not mean it is wrong.
this is extremism to only think that you are right and others are wrong.
ultimately it would not be your decision that she gets Green Card or not.
If you cant say something nice stay away from my post and show your hatred anywhere else.

The more ownership they take in their case, the more prepared they will be to navigate through the visa, green card, removal of conditions, and if your cousin wants, US citizenship.

Seems that won’t be necessary by the time the cousin gets a visa unless things happen very quickly from here, looks like she will likely be IR1 by the time she immigrates.

For everyone who thinks they know everyone and can judge everyone, stay away from my post.
my question was just about 1-130 processing time that if anyone else is in the same boat. I did n’t give anyone right to falsely accused me. Even if you think its a green card marriage, keep thinking just don’t express your beautiful thoughts on my post.

People don’t understand arranged marriages and that is why you are getting some of this reaction, but unfortunately you are not allowed to tell people not to post here.
You are correct that the consulate in Pakistan sees a good number of these and understands the difference between an arranged marriage and a green card marriage.
but I do agree with others that it should be your cousin and/or her husband asking the questions,  not you as a third party.

anyway…to get back to the original question, it seems to me that there is nothing “wrong” with the petition as such but the long processing times. however they need to ensure they have the correct marriage certificates for Pakistan.

I said her to join the group and she already did but i think i did wrong to say her to join. This group was such a help few yew years ago at my time but now full of toxic people.anyway even if they don't understand they should not pass bad comments like fraud country seriously. Everyone should respect others cultures and beliefs.
my question was just about processing time nothing else thanks for your help.

Is there not any rule about passing comments to others calling fraud country and green card marriage. Who are they to talk like that. I just ask about processing time nothing else.
green card marriage or not who are they to decide? Are they officers in uscis?

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ You can check processing times here to see if it’s outside of normal processing time. I also suggest to browse the subforum for your country to see if others are in the same boat. Yes, Pakistan is considered a high fraud country, but if the marriage is legitimate and forms were filled out accurately then I would not worry. The husband really needs to take ownership of this however as it is his wife’s case. He would be the one reaching out to make an inquiry to USCIS if case is outside normal processing time, not you.

Here's a list of high fraud countries, Pakistan is very much on it, yes.

Country with high rates of immigration fraud = high fraud country. The reason for why this is brought up in this thread is not to be rude, but that it will affect your cousin's immigration journey in one way or another. It's important to know about this.

Yet we all know what the red flags are for fraud and imo this case has none of them: here, the immigrant is a slightly but not too much younger woman of the same religion, in a marriage arranged the traditional way between the families.

If you believe her being from Pakistan won't affect her immigration journey, red flags or not, then.. well.. 🤷‍♀️

Pakistani AP seems to be almost exclusively young men judging by these forums.
What will affect them is not having the correct marriage documents.

Here's what I suggest. Since only the petitioner who filed the I-130 can inquire about the case at USCIS stage he should check the case status in their USCIS online profile. If USCIS sent an RFE, it should be posted on the documents tab if I'm not mistaken. If they find that RFE was sent, he needs to respond to it by providing information requested. If not, then he should get in touch with USCIS by phone and ask when was the last action taken on the case (case touched). He can also ask and verify at which processing center the case is being reviewed. If the case has not been reviewed for a long time, then request to speak to a Tier 2 officer. When we called USCIS, they told us that the case was going through a background check, and couple of weeks later the status went to "Case being actively reviewed" and then to "Approved" the next day. Don't pay attention to all the negativity. Just take the advice that is useful to you. Good luck!
