Hi Everyone,

I started my case to petition for my step daughter in Mexico in May of 2019. Visa Class IR2.  On July 20, 2020 my case became Documentarily Qualified, and I have been patiently waiting for my interview date ever since then. Periodically I call NVC to see how things are going, but the reps there always tell me the same thing. "Your case is still waiting for an interview overseas. We do not have an estimated timeline of when you will get your interview notice."  Basically, sorry keep waiting kind of thing... so my question is. Does anyone here have any clue as to when I can expect my interview?  I have seen other people get scheduled for an interview already for August, but they are mostly IR1 cases or other categories...

Any info would help at this point.

Thank you all and God Bless

As a US citizen I applied for my two step-children to come in as IR2 visas. Their priority date was listed as April 2019 and just 3 days ago we received notice they are scheduled for their consulate interview on August 4th. I think you should receive notice of an interview very soon. They finally are moving quickly. Good luck!
