F2A Category Mumbai Consulate Interview

They are not issuing F2A visas. There are still DQ cases from Jan 2020 which have not been scheduled. I don't know under what law Mumbai embassy is operating but there is no provision of prioritizing one immigrant visa over another when visas are available.

We should all come together and file a lawsuit against them..Covid has been here for 2 years..They should find a way out to accomodate our interviews..

Has anybody else received an update on their ceac portal saying " due to numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at NVC...." 

My simple question is how can the numerical limitation be reached when no fresh interviews were being conducted? Also as per the visa issuance statistics a very limited number of visas are being issued for f2a category since last many months. Why this unfair treatment to family immigrants ? Literally feeling helpless.I have lost all hopes from this pathetic system.

Anybody who has any information or updates please do share here.

I too see the same message in NVC website. Did not get any email on this message. My DQ is Apr-2020.

Catagory F2A 

Interview location mumbai.

I did not get any mail from embassy for visa interview date..

Only I got 60 days mail. 

Any one got interview date?

Please let me know.

Does anyone know of any contacts inside Bombay embassy that we can call and enquire? Not the ustraveldocs contact but somebody in the immigrant visa office.

Do they use fax?

Got to know from a different forum that ppl with DQ date DEC 2019 for F2A category have got their interview date on 29th April 2022 for Mumbai. If so then ppl whose DQ dates are towards the beginning of 2020 will soon get their interview letters.
