F2A Category Mumbai Consulate Interview

Any updates regarding F2A category mumbai embassy?? I have already received 1st 120 days waiting email and then 2x 60 days which is also gonna end soon.DQ since March 2020

Hi All,

 

My spouse PD is Nov 2018, DQ june 2020, i got 2 x120 days letter & 1x60 days letter. Still no interview schedule.

Any one got interview. I am total hopeless now.

Same here..my DQ date is March 2020..I am also getting the same 60 days email since last many months..tried contacting NVC and embassy many times but every time I am getting same copy paste replies and COVID related excuses. This wait is becoming frustrating for all of us

I am in similar situation. My spouse's DQ is in Apr' 20. Based on the NVC visa statistics, Mumbai consulate have not issued any F2A visas in the last 6 months. Overall the number of Immigrations visas issued have been increasing, since June' 21 (782) to Dec' 21 (1501). The latest number of immigration visas issued is closer to pre covid total, for ex. in Sep' 18, 1300+ visas issued. 

 

Not sure when the F2A trend will change.

Exactly..not sure why this particular category of visa is not given any priority..

Are you sure that not a single F2A visa is given from last 6 months?

I know it does not sound good. That's what the reports provided in the website says. Please refer to the link and you can check for the visas issued under Mumbai for F2A.

@Mr. Patel Thanks for sharing it. It looks like this graph is plotted on the visas issued under FX category, i.e, Spouse or Child of LPR (exempt from country limitations), not  F21. Is that correct? If so, that is relatively good news. 

 

Has anyone heard about any applicant attending interviews in F21 category recently? Pls. share.

Hi,

My DQ date is March 2020.i also received 1x120 days email and 5x60 days email after that.latest one was received today morning.i have e-mailed to NVC and embassy many times but have not got any help.. apparently no fresh interviews are being conducted at Mumbai embassy.God knows how much more we all have to wait to get our interview scheduled!

Anyone who has any updates please give it.

US Mumbai Embassy has not scheduled any interviews for F2A category in last couple of months as per the data released by them. God knows when they will start scheduling the interviews for F2A category.

My DQ is in Apr-2020 and I got another 60-day letter from NVC today. It has been 22 months since DQ. 

 

Does anyone know if applicants with DQ as of Dec-2019 have completed their interviews? 

 

Is there any tracking sheet or excel wherein interview schedule is shared? Please let me know.

Any one got visa interview date before june 2020 my spouse DQ is june 2020 for F2A.  I have got another 60 days letter...I don't have any hope the Mumbai embassy is issuing F2A visa.
