F2A Category Mumbai Consulate Interview

Hi All, 

My F2A category case details are as follows:

PD: 17th March 2017

DQ: Nov 16th 2020

Processing Centre: California 

I am still waiting for an interview at Mumbai Consulate in India. I received 120 days notice and also received 60 days notice on June 2nd 2021. I have submitted an inquiry also at NVC on June 22nd 2021, they said, expect a reply by July 14th but have not heard anything yet. 

How long more I have to wait for an interview? Anyone else who got an interview recently, please share the details and status.

Would be really grateful for any information shared. Thanks a lot!.  Really wish and pray for all of you waiting for interview.

I have heard that Mumbai consulate is currently working on cancelled interviews of March 2020. FYI, my category is F2b. DQed on Dec 2020 and Priority Date is current too. Good luck

No, there is no update for me as well, My document qualified is June 2020. and got 60 days email on 14th June 2021. please update if you get any further communication as your 60 days will get mature at 2nd August. all the best and good luck to you .

On Aug 1st 2021 , I got another 60 days notification from NVC. I think we will keep getting this 60 days notice until interview is available at consulate.

No I haven't heard yet anything from NVC ,my 60 days period will over on Aug12.

Hi Priority date 17th March 2017 means you applied for F2A on that day? Is it taking more than 3 years from applying to approval?

Hi, yes, 17th Mar 2017 doc was received by USCIS, and my i130 application was approved on 24th Apr 2019.  Still waiting for interview. Its been almost 4 yrs 5 months now that I applied  , Very disappointed in the system.

OMG that's terrible. Is the typical F2A wait time for India  4 years or its because of covid?

@Lubna Anjum No update from Mumbai consulate so far. I am keen to know visa statistics of the consulate for July month. I want to check how many Immigrant Visas they issued for the month.
