Hello!  Anyone who has traveled to Morocco in the last year or so, do you know where I can get a PCR test in Morocco which is required to re-enter the U.S.?  Flying out of Casa.  Thanks in advance! :)

Yes, I saw this too.  In the end, my husband found a place on Facebook and the guy came to our apartment to do the test, so we didn't have to go to another city.  The guy was doing a lot of tests in our city so I think a lot of people were getting ready to travel.  After about 24 hours, they emailed my husband with the results and he sent them to me.  At the airport, I just showed the result on my phone and it worked very well.  The cost was 700 dirham.

thats just over $78 USD when adil says dr he called said 25  (233 dh) he just got his PCR to come home

moroccans always do this  / they ask a friend or call "someone to find out""    never do they check with government agencies

When we married Adil said 'i will find out from a friend what we would need to do"   and i showed hime the US embassy site that gave step by step instructions

Wow 223 dh is a good price.  Maybe it's cheaper in some areas.  But this was an actual lab that my husband found on Facebook.

This was on the US Consulate in Morocco's webpage:

  • Are PCR and/or antigen tests available for U.S. citizens in Morocco? Yes.  The cost for the test is typically around 700 Dirhams.

So I think 700 Dirhams is the going rate.  There might be some people that are offering low cost alternatives, but I would be worried about getting the results ontime.  The U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Morocco's website is really informative and very up-to-date.  They have the most recent COVID information for anyone that needs it.  And the information is accurate.  Currently there is a 9:00 PM curfew in Morocco.
