Warsaw is small, I am afraid I have to wait much longer for the interview because so many cases transferred from Russia.

Don't worry, they seems to prioritize applicants from Belarus, go DQed on Sept 3 and received interview letter on 15th with Oct 5 interview date in Warsaw

Are you immediate relative? Cause I am family category and waiting for 3 months already. Other people within family care have been waiting  for more than a year already

yes, IR1, check my timeline for more info

The ir1 category is scheduled interview right away after DQ. I am F2A and no sign I would receive invitation till the next summer unfortunately. Even DV lottery gets 10 times more interview dates then family category, just crazy unfair

If you are from Belarus, you should get it before Russian transferees in your category as well - there is a ir1 transfer from Russia in this thread that had to wait few month for NVC to schedule the appointment, yet Polish/Belorusians get scheduled right away at normal pace. So fingers crossed you'll get it sooner than you're anticipating, especially since Warsaw interviews seems to be going at higher than pre-COVID volumes these days (at least in ir1 category).

Nothing still

Hi, I saw yesterday a post on Facebook with a DQ date January 2021, PD July 2019 and interview scheduled for October 2021, no expedite, f2a category, Warsaw, Poland, so I remember you had an earlier DQ date September 2020, have you got your interview invitation?

Rather disappointing news (as if there's not enough already) - it appears that the number of CR-1/IR-1 visas issued in Warsaw has dropped dramatically in both June and July when compared to the welcomed surge in March - May.

March had a high of 63 issued and a backlog of 122 (roughly two months at that rate).  May had 54 and a backlog of 188 (roughly three months backlog) and July showed only 18 issued with a backlog of 200 - representing 11 months at that pace.

Hi everyone, my parent just received an I-130 approval. We are gathering documents to submit to NVC and the dilemma is whether we should wait or not to submit the documents given that my parent is in Belarus and he needs to apply for a Shengen visa to get to Warsaw for an interview... He is scheduled for a Shengen visa interview in May, so I wonder whether we should wait for documents to submit in order not to get a sooner appointment in Warsaw... Any recent experience as to how long it takes between the time when NVC reviews Affidavit of Support + Application package and schedules the interview in Warsaw? Any specific considerations for Belarusian citizens?

I see based on NVC timeframes that it takes them about 1 month to review all documents and then I understand it may take 2-3 months for an interview since the parent needs to do the medical exam, prepare additional documents, etc. But any real life stories of Belarusian/Russian beneficiaries sharing their experience would be of great help! Thanks so much for any insights!
