221 G White Slip

Before covid 19:

I was interviewed along with my wife and 2 kids at US embassy for family based immigration in fall of 2019. I was give 221G white slip by the VO. My passports are with the embassy, since then.

Based on request from the consulate, I submitted my travel history to the embassy after the interview. I kept waiting for the visa for around six months, and then covid 19 came.

 

After covid 19:

The embassy asked me to again submit DS260, travel history along with medicals, etc. It has been three months, since providing all the required information. I am still waiting for the visa.

If I ask embassy, I am given a standard reply that my case is undergoing admin processing.

 

My patience is finishing. I dont know, if I will ever receive the visas.

 

Can any one here give some advice? How long this admin processing will continue?

AP is black hole,there is nothing you can do but wait,i assume its islamabad  embassy who are notorious  for using their powers against immigrants and kind of abusing legal immigrants,remember  we still have people working there who are implementing  last administration  polices. Just wait ,be patient.and if its take too long ,find an attorney  who can file notice of mandamus as last option.
