Hello all,

Just trying to get some feedback. Yesterday I filled the information online to renew my 10 year Green Card. (I-90 form)

It seemed pretty basic. Even though my I applied after my card expired (June 2021) what are the chances of them denying it? I am a little nervous on this. Hope I get it approved.

Any feedback would be appreciated

Thanks

Provided the form was filled out correctly, the fee is correct, you attend biometrics, and having done anything that makes you no longer eligible to be an LPR (such as commit a crime) there is zero chance of being denied.

This is a renewal not a reapplication.

YMMV

my greencard was way over expired like probably 5-6 years. i was not able to renew until i wanted to travel internationally. when i was doing my biometrics, i had to show my card and the lady was so shocked, but yeah it got renewed despite the fact. i mean the card has expired, but in reality i was still a permanent resident but of course having up to date permanent resident card is important. but yeah after it got renewed, i also made sure to apply for citizenship with a valid nonexpired card
