March 2021 Filer case ready to schedule for interview

2 days after my biometrics was collected I got a mail for the deficiency notice of my I-693, 5 days after that only my I-485 case was updated to case is ready to schedule for interview. I chatted Emma to know the status of my I-765 and I-131 and the live agent told me that the latest status is biometrics was taken. On my case tracker both I-765 and I-131 still showing "case is received". I wonder how long it takes for the case status to change from "case is ready to schedule for interview" to "interview scheduled"?

Depends completely on your local office.   Some are a few months,  some are more than a year

YMMV

My local office is in Reno, Nevada. I don't have an idea if that field office process fast on applications. I wonder if the EAD will be skipped and if not, how long is the waiting time from biometrics? I asked a live agent today and she mentioned my EAD biometrics is different from my AP and that it isn't a combo card. That really confused me.

Maybe the reason you don't know if Reno is fast or slow is you didn't look it up?

YMMV

I looked it up but I can't really see much applications or cases being processed in Reno. I don't really have much idea on the processing time.

USCIS website says 12 to 29 months

YMMV

Is it true that the EAD will take 7.5 to 10 months? Is this after biometrics were taken or is it based on the priority date?

When you have your biometrics taken is meaningless to the timing of EAD or the GC interview.

YMMV

Here is my timeline:

PD: 03/11/2021

Field Office: Reno, Nevada

03/11/2021 - Filed I-130 online (Nebraska Service Center)

03/26/2021 - Concurrent filing of I-485, I-765 and I-131 (National Benefits Center)

05/05/2021 - Payment cashed and received text notifications for receipts

05/11/2021 - Received NOA1 in the mail

06/09/2021 - Requested expedite for I-765

06/12/2021 - Biometrics was scheduled

06/19/2021 - Received Biometrics notice in the mail

06/25/2021 - Expedite for I-765 denied

07/09/2021 - Biometrics done

07/19/2021 - I-485 case updated online to schedule for interview

At this point I don't know how long will be the waiting time. I chatted a live agent yesterday and she said my Biometrics has been applied to my I-765 and I-131 but both still doesn't show any update on my online account. They are still both "case received"

Mine updated to Interview Scheduled after 14 days, 16 days after biometrics. Online it says processing times for my FO are between 11.5 and 31.5 months, so they're not always accurate!

Today my I-130 which is being processed at Nebraska got updated 13 hrs ago to "case is actively being reviewed". Is there any relation to this on scheduling my I-485 interview? Currently, my I-485 is still stuck to "case is ready to schedule for interview" for 17 days.

Reno is really fast. I know of a case here in VJ that took three months from beginning to end even in covid times. So you’re probably not going to get the combo card and instead get your gc.
