I just heard from her and SHE WAS APPROVED it took 5 hrs to go through the whole process, they are doing pre-interviews now then a whole ####### load of other stuff, most of what we uploaded to the NVC did not get transferred to embassy they gave her 30 minutes to upload it all, they did look at all my financials also, once that was all done she had to do other things before final interview which they asked her 5 questions in 2 minutes and was approved they said tuesday or wednesday next week she will have visa ready for pick up at 2go spot.yes you got most of the story correct also for what we have been through.

Congrats

I know how you feel. With the lack of communication, the 12 hour time difference, their culture vs the US culture, and the distance and the lack of communication can make things tough trying to carry on a long distance relationship that long.

The waiting is the most stressful part of the process...especially at the end.  I'm glad you feel better now.  Congratulations.

I understand his frustrations 100%, and I know where he is coming from.  Completely reasonable for his situation.

But I have spent alot of times in Philippines, and courted many girls over there.

Thank you for sticking up for me and understanding the whole situation.👍👍👍

I guess something happened at the interview today cause site was updated saying refused snd i still have not heard from her, so as of 1pm philippine time i told her to contact me or go back home.  I can not have someone in my life that does not want to communicated on such a important thing we have fought so hard for,  after a K1 and now this one i think i am done with immigration.

IT IS SAD SOME GET APPROVED OTHERS DO NOT OR HAVE TO WAIT YRS. when this government just lets these buttheads walk across the borders and give them everything they want while the rest of us try and do it the legal way costing thousands of dollars to go threw this process and they are apparently turned down, for who knows what reason which is now my case since someone does not want to communicate with me. Thank you all for the help i will be leaving the site real soon, no sense in me staying if not continuing on with this and my marriage.   Bye all

Internet service isn’t always good there. Sometimes I didn’t hear from my wife (fiancé then) for a period of time. Not for more than a day, but we talked every day and night unless service was bad there. I would not panic. The whole thing can definitely be nerve wracking. I would try to be patient and wait

Congratulations. The whole process can be stressful! Did your fiancé get her CFO for travel? I remember being stressed up until she had her visa in hand lol. I can laugh about it now, but I wasn’t then

Everything will work out perfectly.  Man, this is not a journey for the faint of heart.  Congratulations.  Now most of that stress you felt has all subsided.  The wait doesnt matter anymore.  Now it is just the future to look forward to.

I don't know if this matters but I believe without an immigrant visa, the CFO issues a paper certificate. My wife has had to carry one around for 11 years now. After they get an immigrant visa they can take the certificate in and the CFO office puts a stamp in her passport. I don't know if having a certificate instead of a stamp would prevent boarding a plane.
