My wife and I just had our interview but were never told directly that our case was approved.  Within couple hours, we checked our status on the USCIS website and it says “New Card Is Being Produced” specifically for the I-485 section.  
 

Does anyone know what this means?

What is there to be confused about? It means exactly what it says: your green card is being made. Congratulations.

Thank you!  Sorry if the question sounded dumb.  It’s just that we were nervous and felt that the interview did not go well.  And also because the website didn’t clearly say “Green card” so we weren’t sure.  Can definitely say that we are super relieved now!

Time to celebrate!! Also, USCIS' "tracking system" really sucks anyway and the whole process is very stress-inducing so no worries...been there, done that. Go unwind! When you get your card, make sure all info on it is correct, especially the "Resident Since" and "Expires" dates.
