Hi bing, would you mind if I ask you one question.
Did you send a letter and your copy of N-652 to your interview officer after passing 120 days of your examination? If yes, where did you send it? your interview room or your field office?

Hi angelostuart, did you have anything updated?

I inquired on USCIS.gov

they respond me like nothing!

I am sorry to hear that, but I do not know what within our current processing time means? I remember your case has been 120 days from the date of your examination, and I think my case is also over the processing time based on the https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times. I actually received a similar message as yours.

Are you going to make an appointment through InfoPass or contact  Ombudsman office? I will do that because now my case has been 17~18 months since I submitted N400, and also has passed 120 days from the date of my interview examination. I am not sure if it is useful, but let’s keep sharing experiences and updates here.

Hope we will hear good news soon.

No problem, your words are so true. By the way, I knew a person in LA just ready for scheduling oath last month, after 5~6 months waiting since the interview. I think you are almost there. Lol…

Here is the guide to InfoPass.

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/fact-sheets/info-pass-fact-sheet.pdf

I am not sure if we can meet our interview officers or their supervisors through InfoPass, but I prepare a letter for my IO. I also asked bing if we can just mail our letter (plus a copy of N652) to our IOs, but I do not where to send it because I did not remember her office room number. I just did not understand why she told me I would have received my oath letter within 9-10 days after the interview. Now it has been passed 120 days, and never happened.

No, I didn't send a physical letter, I know my lawyer did send a couple though.

I did email, and have my congress people enquire though. All the responses were generic like @angelostewart received above, and in my opinion did absolutely nothing at all.

thank you share that

presently the Infopass situation is:

If you are inside the United States, you can no longer schedule an appointment online using InfoPass for domestic offices.

Hello congress assist ,

Thank you for your August 26, 2021, inquiry on behalf of your constituent, Mr. Angelo, regarding his Form N-400 Application for Naturalization (Form N-400). Mr. Angelo is requesting for assistance with his application.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicate that Mr. Angelo’s case is currently under review. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also ensuring public safety, national security, and compliance with all relevant directives. A small percentage of applications and petitions have unresolved background check issues that temporarily delay adjudication.

USCIS is striving to resolve these issues promptly; however, USCIS is unable to speculate a time frame for the review process. Upon completion, USCIS will adjudicate the application as quickly as possible. Should you wish to follow the progress of the case, you may submit a new inquiry via the web portal 90 days from now.

We hope this information is helpful and if we can be of further assistance, please let us know.

It is a so funny response, Angelo. But thanks for sharing. I don't expect my congressman now.

I just happened to think that after my n400 interview, the IO gave me N-652, and told me her name which was also on N-652. Hence, I always think that I can contact her easily. But things are not that easy...

I think we can only wait to see now. Please keep updating when you have good news. Thank you!

Yes, pretty much identical to the responses I received on mine. I had about 20 enquiries over the year and half I was waiting, and all were some variation on the above.

Dear Sir or Madam,

You are receiving this email in response to your request for case assistance to the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (CIS Ombudsman).

In your request, you indicated that you have also asked your Congressional representative to make an inquiry to USCIS on your behalf.  To avoid duplication of effort and potential further delays, we ask that you allow USCIS time to provide a response to your Congressional inquiry.

The CIS Ombudsman serves as an office of last resort.  Please allow USCIS 30 days from the date of this email to respond to your Congressional inquiry.  If you still find that your issue has not been resolved after 30 days, please re-contact us by replying to this email, and we will review your request to determine how our office can assist.

Thank you for your patience and continued confidence in our office.

If still no decision on 10/01/2021

I will re- contact Ombudsman

Just want to update but not good news. I just received a response from USCIS, but the content in the letter is the same as the last time I received. It’s kinds of automatic reply. It’s been almost 18 months waiting since submitting n400.

“USCIS systems indicate that you appeared for your naturalization interview on May 05, 2021. If final approval is granted, you will be notified of when and where to report for your naturalization ceremony.

Once scheduled, you may view and print a copy of your Oath Ceremony Appointment Notice within your USCIS online filing system account. After you log in to your USCIS online filing system account, access the Home Tab to find the "Documents" field to view or print your official appointment notice from USCIS. You must take the Oath Ceremony Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment. Please review the notice for any instructions regarding the naturalization ceremony.
