Missing address change confirmation

Hi! I send in the online application about address change on June 4th this year but haven't received any confirmation in mail and also don't see in Case Status Online anything about it. Do I need to do something like contact USCIS and ask if they received the information about the new address or I don't have to do anything? Thanks!

You're supposed to write down the confirmation number of AR-11. Paper copy will not be mailed out to you.

If your spouse changed his address as well as your USC sponsor (I-865, hard copy mailed in), they'd send the paper copy confirming it to your spouse.

Thanks! I saved confirmation number of AR-11, it just said "Success! Address change request submitted". And it said to expect a reply by June 20, 2021. I was filing for I-751.

Exactly the same thing happened to me 2 months ago.

I just filed another AR-11, and I did receive a confirmation for that one.

I would suggest filling out another AR11 until you got confirmation email in your hands. I also suggest paying small fee to usps and extend your mail forwarding for a year if the case doesn't finalize during 1 year mail forwarding time. Uscis is really bad at address changing, so be careful.

02/06/2021: Filed and package sent

02/10/2021: Received by USCIS

03/18/2021: NOA 1

07/01/2021: Biometrics waived

09/27/2011: Case approved, no interview (K1 visa)

I just found an old email on June 6th with title: Address Change Request Confirmation. Address change request successfully submitted:
Updated Address To:

Expect a reply by:June 20, 2021

Is this all I need or had to receive that reply later?

I had received a reply later but that was back 2019, with covid and everything, that may change. It was an email like a response to a service request. I would suggest you reach out uscis to make sure.

Reply email was like below.

Title of email was: Your recent inquiry (receipt #MSCXXXXXXXXX)

Receipt #:
 -- MSC-XXXXXXXXXX

Referral ID:
CAXXXXXXXXMSC

Beneficiary (if you filed for someone else):
 -- Information not available

Your USCIS Account Number (A-number):
 -- XXXXXXX

Type of service requested:
 -- Change of Address

The status of this service request is:

Recently, you contacted us to update your address. We have updated your address in our systems and on your application or petition.

I had a problem with uscis for that. I had changed my address during aos, and got this email confirmation as well, and also called uscis and got verbal confirmation. But- they set up my interview in my old state and sent the notice to old address anyways. If usps hadn't forwarded the mail, I would have never known and I was pretty sure that they had changed the address. Then, by reaching out congressman, they directly transferred my case from one local office to the new one without going thru nbc again because it was so obvious that it is uscis error, thanks to above confirmation email as a proof and also congressman.

Hello All,

Last week,  I submitted address change request AR-11 form for my F2B I130 application and today I got email from Vermont  USCIS Service Center.

When I submitted I130 my application, It was is California Service Center. I have NOA1 from California Service Center for F2B I130. Since I got address change request AR11 approval email from Vermont Service Center, Does it mean my F2B I130 case transferred to Vermont Service Center ?

I did not get any communication/mail from USCIS about my case transfer. I believe USCIS generally sends mail/update status whenever Case is transferred to other service center.

Thanks,

Alpesh
