NVC reported timeframe is currently 74 days

You can use this site to see the historical trend

https://visawhen.com/nvc

Is the official timeframe same as observed by members here or is the official timeframe inflated like the i-130 approval timeframes?

The site I listed, Visawhen is maintained by someone who recently went through the process and plots the historic trend of the official time frames as listed by the NVC. This allows us to see if the NVC  reported dates are getting better, worse etc. As discussed earlier in this thread the official dates reported seem to be cautious, and we have seen member (myself included) report reviews before the NVC says they are under review, though many cases are in line with the official dates. There no single place where users report their reviews on here.

for ref the official review dates from the NVC are located here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

You will soon hear from them.

Resubmitted for Dad on 28th July and he was DQ’d this morning.

Now waiting for IL for both Dad and Mom, we hope they will have same interview date.

Mom was DQ’d in May.

Hey Dosrom

Just wondering if your family was an original submission or a re-submission.

I re-submitted some docs on 17-Aug-21 and your message was encouraging.

Thanks for sharing.

5 Days movement....getting there slowly

Posted (edited)

Submitted final documents to NVC on 07 June... Had an RFE at the very end of July (just under 2 months) that I addressed with new document upload and submission a couple days later on 02 August. Has since been just over 2 months with another 3 weeks expected, at least, for the document to be reviewed. As others have mentioned, happy to see it is at 5 days of case review progress in a week instead of the 1-2 days, but it is nonetheless very frustrating and stressful to see such little progress made.

It's certainly frustrating. I got RFE on first week of September, immediately uploaded the necessary documents but I may not hear back for another 2+ months. Had previously waited just a little two months for the initial review.

However there are people here on the forum hearing back roughly two weeks ahead of the posted time frame so hopefully they do review the RFE'ed cases in advance. Fingers crossed...
