Hi all,

Currently at the NVC stage of my CR1, as per the NVC timeframes my application should be been processed last week however when I check my application on CEAC there is no update.

Also when I check on the visa status checker with my case number its says 'Action Required: Submit requested documents', it then says:

NOTE: If you already sent NVC the financial and civil documents for your case, please go to https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents/nvc-self-tracker.html for information on your case status. Keep in mind that if you recently submitted documents, NVC may still be reviewing them. -

However it says we couldn't find the page you are looking for in regards to the link and when we got this message on the CEAC we submitted the requested document.

Is it normal for them the NVC timeframes to be off due to the client climate? And is it normal for it to say documents requested after submitting all required?

Thanks

Yes for both questions.

We got the same note after we submitted our documents to NVC.  Later we found out that we, and others here on VJ, were affected by an NVC system issue in May & June that caused a delay in the transfer of submitted documents to their internal systems.  As a consequence, the effective submission date for some cases were pushed back by around 2 weeks.  If you don't get a review notification by end of this week, call NVC and ask if your case was affected too --

I'm also waiting on review of two documents re-submitted on June 4th and June 8th. NVC processing date only progressed 2 days this week (from 4-June last Monday to 6-June this Monday) so they might be swamped catching up on those missed documents. I remember being really surprised about a month ago when the review date jumped from 30-April to 18-May in a week. You think they would have picked up that something was wrong...

Anyway, I managed to get through to the NVC call centre last week and was told I need to wait until the later date (June 8th) had passed before I call.  She did say that they want to hear from people who appear to have missed out on a review, so if all of your documents were submitted before June 6th I would definitely give them call. Good luck!
