I have my biometrics appointment for removal of conditions on Thursday 07/22.

I had the paperwork on top of a cabinet and somehow the ceiling fan blew the paperwork onto the floor overnight and my cat has damaged it.

The first page of the notice of action is damaged but OK. The secondary page - the applicants information worksheet, is pretty shredded and damaged beyond repair really.

I cried when I discovered the carnage this morning.

Being the weekend I havent been able to call USCIS yet, I will cal them tomorrow but I dont see how they can get me a replacement before Thursday.

I am still planning to go to the appointment and will take the damaged documents with me and just hope for the best!

Not sure whether to tape them back together or take the pieces.

I dont want to reschedule the appointment if at all possible, my husband is active duty and we are moving abroad to Japan in December on military orders and I cant travel back for the biometrics as well as the eventual interview!

Any advice on what to do in this situation?!

TIA

Tape them together and it will be fine. You just need that thing so they let you in. If they can read the information on the first page you're alright. Don't reschedule because of that. If you can get a hold of a Tier 2 at the hotline they might be nice enough to email it to you again but don't loose sleep over it if not.

Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to reply and putting my mind at ease. I am always so careful with this kind of thing but not careful enough this time!

I will tape them together and hope all is good. Thank you again!

Log into your account on USCIS and go to your N-400 application and you can reprint the forms and complete them again.

This is for my i-751, and I did log in to my account but I can't find anything to be able to print unfortunately. I appreciate your reply thank you!
