I checked on the state elections voter lookup website to see if there was any record with my information since I've heard it's common for you to be registered without your permission.

How did you do in the interview I hope they didn’t give you hard time cause you been registered to vote , I have same case as you and I have interview on December 9th .

I was able to get documentation that I'm no longer registered and also sent an explanation about what happened. I am now a US Citizen 🇺🇸  you got this .

Here's a quick explanation how this happens if you live in NJ, as this almost happened to me and this nice lady behind the counter stopped me from registering to vote couple month back (April 2021). When you apply for license or renew and you are at the counter, they will tell you to use the Credit Card pad and say YES or NO to the questions. One of the questions is "Do you want state of NJ to register you to vote..." (also its a long ### statement that most people dont care to read, as I didn't either but the lady told not to hit YES, as I was about to press YES, because this is to register to vote and as a GC its illegal to register for me). This question is right after you answer if you want to be a donor and also another question so some people just press quickly without realizing what the question is asking and people who are working for NJ MVC dont really care to explain what it says on the screen, but just tell you to answer questions. That's the reason why most people register by accident in NJ, so much for that.

Was ok , but cause I been registered to vote but never voted they asked for more evidence ( voter registration application) 36 days and still waiting for the decision.

Yes I went to dmv to get my application they don’t save it . I only apply for driving license then I find my self register to vote . So do you get the evidence  they asking for?

Go to the election office they have it . They will not process your application n400 without the actual form . If you live in Illinois you need to contact the dmv in Springfield, they have 100% .

1 month after submitting letter from elections office showing that I never registered and my own explanation as to what happened.
