Refused doesn't necessarily mean Denied. If they are asking for consent letter from other parent, then that's what the need to move the application forward. Since you've provided the consent just wait for approval.

Well, your title says you don't know why they were refused but in your text you mentioned that the embassy wants the consent letters. You know the reason then. You already submitted those. Now you need to wait.

I had my (step)son come here and I knew I needed some sort of letters from father and mother so the boy is allowed to immigrate. I had everybody prepare stuff already in advance. I had no problem at the embassy stage about this. My son just immigrated 2 days ago.

My ex had our child support agreement, she had my IDs , but wat my ex found out was that he doesn't know what kind application it was and the officer called 2 senior colleagues to help him,bc my ex overheard everything tru the mic,the 2nd colleague show him a list and asked him if he needs anything from there he can ask us to bring it.and it was about lunch time for him,so was kind of in a hurry.

My ex needs to see the first officer who screen them, the officer she doesn't know why he's asking my kids who are 10 and 13yrs for that.

Am i suppose to write a consent letter when i am a co sponsor of application and also a consent from my ex wen she has a child support letter she wrote and giving a blessingthat kids are free to go and stay with their anytime we decide, why does he needs my passport photo when my ex have my green card with them.

I was sick to my stomach.

But i hope good news is coming soon for us and every one waiting.

Am getting frustrated i have been trying to get intouch with embassy if they received the docs i sent through mail and calls...no response..

I got a congressman involved on monday..but the senator's office just sent a privacy release form..

Should i fill it to..so as to let also get involve or wait on the responses the congress will get.

Please an advice..this embassy is more crazier than USCIS..Atleast USCIS will acknowledge your mails..but this guys are just too crazy
