Hello, I hope I can get some advise in this forum. My case file is now current and I got the NYC welcome letter. I am the principal applicant and my sister applied in 2005. In 2007 I got divorced and re-married in 2012. I am trying to remove my ex-spouse's name by attaching a divorce decree, but it is not getting accepted. Can anyone help, how can I remove her name and add my current spouse's name?

Do you mean that you clicked the buttons to "Remove Applicant" and "Add Applicant", but they don't seem to be working?  If so, I suggest calling NVC to report the issue.

Until your issue gets resolved, here's the workaround from the NVC Troubleshooting page, at least regarding your ex-spouse on the list: "If you are unable to remove a derivative family member who won't be immigrating with you, set that derivative to 'Follow to Join' and do not pay fees for that derivative. That will not cause delay in review of your case." -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/troubleshooting.html

Thanks, I tried removing the name and also attached the divorce documents, but in few minutes it is going as normal. I tried adding my current spouse's name, but it got rejected saying you cannot add another spouse until you remove the past name. I have also filled the public enquiry form on NVC, since they do not entertain telephonic enquiries. I am not able to understand why the divorce decree is not getting accepted?

Not gonna work if it’s an ex spouse and he needs to add a new one, you can’t have two spouses on a case

NVC definitely allows inquiries via phone.  We called them twice, though about a different issue.  You may be on hold for a long while but an agent will pick up eventually.  It's good that you already filled out the public form, but if you want to follow up with a call, you can -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/nvc-contact-information.html
