Did you send a 260 or 160 to the embassy yet? As I recall the UID is on the confirmation page.

We have the DS260 done but no where on it is the UID,  the NVC scheduled our interview in march but we was hit with the dang sputum. She has passed it and got vaccinated already.  Trying to get back in for interview again, our medical started on March 7th and they say we have to fly out before August 7th which is only 5 months not the 6 month time period that medical is suppose to last.

we are right at out of time i am ready to give up all together cause of these Governments and the constant cost over and over to milk us more and more.  We have passed everything and still others that was after us have gotten approved

You will see the UID as soon as you get logged into the website.

Sadly at this point you will need to do another medical. My wife has redone hers and thankfully she did not have to do the sputum again. We just sent her passport and new medical stamp to the Embassy and they received it on 7/16. Hopefully we will finally be done.

I think that this is total BS as well. The medical SHOULD BE stamped the date it is completed. pre-covid this was not an issue as it was easy to reschedule. My wife's medical was set to expire on 8/8. We were able to re-schdule, but even though we still had time left (it's not even 8/8 yet, they sent a 221g requesting a new medical. The reason is that they called her and asked if she would be able to leave before it expires and she said no because I am still waiting my visa to go there.

I know it sucks. I think it is less that they are trying to milk us and more about total incompetence and ridiculous government bureaucracy.

In 4 days I will hit the 3 year mark from when I first sent my application. Trust me I feel your pain. My 2 sons are growing before my eyes and I can only watch it from Skype, videos and pictures.
