Is there anything more recent?  I know the US is not on the Green list as of yet, which would shorten the quarantine period to 7 days,  but are US Passport holders able to travel at all? perhaps to see their Fiance? the restrictions are changing by the month.

I think it is best if you also check US Embassy in the Philippines. Here is some infos form the site.

Thank you very much for the link.. The only door I see open for American tourists is the 9a travel visa, and the last I checked their were suspended. Do you know if their granting these visas? I contacted the Consulate in Los Angeles by email and haven't heard back.

The embassy and consulate are not issuing visas right now.  The ONLY way in is to travel with your Filipino spouse or have an existing visa and travel to see your Filipino spouse.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Not quite correct. If you have a spouse or child there you can still obtain a visa, only if you are granted an exemption. But for the OP there is no way in.

I will state what I did earlier in this thread.

Currently you can only go with a visa AND an exemption AND have a spouse or child there.

Follow the Philippines Bureau of Immigration page on FB. They always update any and all changes there and they respond to PM's as well.

Thank you for the correction. What about traveling with my wife to visit there in November. Do I need a visa if I travel with her and our PSA marriage certificate?

Nope. Your only worries will be quarantine policies and such under the current rules. Of course it is always subject to change.

I really urge people to follow the Philippines Bureau of Immigration page on FB. Shockingly every change in policy is posted there immediately, along with the official proclamation. Also it is one of the few pages whether government or private sector that actually responds to PM's and provides accurate information. I actually needed to send the Consulate here in Hawaii what I was told by the Immigration page to even apply for my exemption. The rules change so often that even the Consulate's are clueless as to the current rules.

Yes I agree.  The best, most up to date information is the FB page.  This makes sense though when almost the whole country lives on Facebook, and uses it for almost all aspects of life.  I will add, if you need to go to the provinces and do not know what the current LGU restrictions are, also check out that LGUs facebook page.  That was the only way we could navigate traveling around the country in the Dec-Feb time frame and the info was reliable.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."
