May I ask what's the reason for expedite? We're planning to request an expedite based on my husband (the petitioner's) medical condition. Just want to assess our chances for approval.

If you have valid medical grounds for expedite you should give it a try if from petitioner that’s even better. Provide the necessary documents with proof and explanation why you need to be with your husband and to approve the expedite.

NVC Expedite Request Sent/ACknowledged:11/7/21

Requested Assistance from State Senator: 11/7/21

Response from Senator's Office Received: 11/16/21, they emailed Manila Embassy  with the request and Embassy recommended to call or email the Expedite request to NVC, I guess it's wait and see at this time.

It's for my brother's F2b Application, PD: 3/9/12, DQ: 6/7/21, petitioner my mom. Mom's health declined significantly this year, we attached MD note to the expedite request.

Just got the emai today that expedite request has been denied due to no visa number available, looks like Visa Bulletin has not moved since August of this year, I am so disheartened by this, I will follow up again in January, hopefully there will be movements by then.

I read somewhere that they're only expediting if it's a matter of (petitioner's) life or death. With us, it's not that extreme so I'm not sure it will be approved. All we can do is try.

Ok, it seems the response time has drastically reduced

I included a letter from my mom's doctor with the request maybe made the response faster? I was not expecting a response that quick, anyway I will try again next month and hopefully we will have an approval by then.

Did you get this response from the embassy or NVC? I.e did they even send the request to the embassy at all?

New here and would like to know the process of expedite.

I petitioned my parents IR-5 Jan 2020. DQ’d 04/2021. Submitted expedite request on 09/03/2021 received approval on 10/25/2021. Ceac status shows READY but still no interview scheduled. I heard from someone that there are only 2 consul interviewing at Manila Embassy and have seen few expedite requests got approved from another group.

This response was from NVC, my state senator followed up with the embassy and the embassy responded to send the expedite request to NVC.

What I mean is, did you get the email where they say something like "your request has been forwarded to the embassy....."
