I was told expedite requests are handled by a different team than the team that answers calls. May be your call reached one of them. I am hoping I get a response at least this week. My father needs to undergo a brain surgery. I sent my request on 7/28. Still nothing.

I’m so sorry to hear that, it’s been 30 days the under review email says if you don’t hear from them within 30 days to follow up in another email, I’m not sure if you should or not

I tried calling them several times but I keep getting the same response after waiting on hold for more than an hour. I gave up.

Haiti has its issues, but this is not what we’re fighting against. Just found out COVID vax is required.

Hi, just to update everyone I got a reply from the NVC (one day after being told it was being reviewed) and unfortunately was denied. I requested the expedite due to financial hardship. I knew it was a long shot, and there are people with much better reasons to request an expedite, but I'm glad I at least tried.

Hopefully the NVC speeds back up and we are all back with our loved ones soon❤️

Hi!

Sorry that you didn't received a positive answer from your expedite request :(.  I was wonder if the reply for the NVC was like "Your request for expedited processing of this immigrant visa petition is under review. We will send you the result when it is completed." As well, I would like to confirm that you received your answer after one day? Because I wait more than 30 days for an NVC answer, and I would like to know when I will have a reply of it.

Thank youu!!

Hey, yes I got an email like that and got my rejection a day later. It really depends on your local embassy since they’re the ones that decide whether you get expedited or not. So I’m not sure about Australia, but Ireland seems to be caught up on interviews which is probably why I got such a quick response.

best of luck!

I just got an email saying our request is under review. Does anyone know how long after this that they will render their decision?
