It says our K-1 case was sent to the Mexico City Consulate.  Not Juarez like I was expecting.

According to the government travel website this is a relatively recent development since the start of June 2021... Anyone else have this happen?

I'm a bit worried, our case was last updated with "Ready" on June 28, 2021, but neither of us have received any correspondence about interview date.  Do I need to request an appointment at the mexico city consulate myself? Not sure what to do here.

K applicants with cases at NVC are being scheduled for appointments at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, in the order the cases were documentarily completed.  Those applicants should contact NVC , with any questions.  > https://mx.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas-information/

Yes our case was moved - NVC will assign a new case number starting with MEX instead if CDJ. I emailed NVC and got the new case number. The embassy reached out to me the petitioner to schedule it (well informed me of when the interview was scheduled). Our case was ready on the 28th and email with the P3/K-1 Requirements list came in the 9th of July.
