Bringing Vehicle Across Canadian Border

My fiance and I have decided after him staying here for 3 months that we are going to have him stay and file for AOS instead of pursuing the K1 route. He has a car he owns free and clear in Canada. I know of the paperwork required to have someone bring the vehicle across the border but what are all of our options for doing so and will any of them cause issues.

Option 1: I fly to Canada and drive the car back provided the border opens.

Option 2: His friend drives his car down when he comes for the wedding.

Option 3: Hire a company to ship the car.

What is the best option that won't cause any hiccups or red flags? Thanks in advance.

friend would probably need POA to drive the car in as Title is in someone else's name

Check as prices before u think to do this as in our northern states it's expensive

also,  would he be covered on insurance if he drove it?

I shipped it from Canada and did the AOS. You are allowed to keep Canadian car within US for over a year. So you have couple options, sell the car within US in a year OR being back car to Canada after a year and bring back car again to US either by shipping or driving it (hopefully borders are open by then)

I personally find shipping better as all the headache is on shipping company. It took 2500$ CAD for shipping from Toronto to California.
hope this helps!
