Hey guys,

I am responding to an RFI and wondering does it matter where I mail it in from ? I am based out of Texas but had the original sent to me in Chicago and will be mailing from here. Also do I send the original ?

Thanks!

When you receive RFE look at the end of the letter the mail you, you will see the adress they say to send it

@SK93 it sounds like you changed your address since you filed for AOS? I am understanding that you used to live in Chicago, and received an RFE while you still lived there. Now you moved to texas and you are wondering if you can respond to the RFE from your new location? If that is the case, you need to file the AR-11 and update your address with USCIS. And your financial sponsor needs to update their address by submitting the I-865.

Yes, you can respond to the RFE from Texas if that is where you are now.
