Oh God bless you my friend, I’ve been eagerly waiting for a response from you.🙏

No I haven’t contacted them. Oh by the way, what do you mean by AOS? I was only asked for an updated medical report, police certificate and affidavit of support.

Okay so the last time the partitioner contacted a congressman was late January 2021 and they had been contacting the consulate we were forwarded an email from the consulate with a reply in April. I think that’s the reason why they asked for all updated documents. @SusieQQQ

If they asked you to send them an updated medical and AOS it usually means they are getting ready to issue the visa. (They don’t just arbitrarily ask for new medicals during AP with no sense of when it will end.) Montreal has huge backlogs so it’s probably just winding its way through the internal system, though April to now does still seem a bit long for that. Have you contacted them to ask for an update?

Again. They usually only ask for documents when they are preparing to issue a visa. If I were you I’d contact them for a follow up, politely state you submitted updated documents as requested in April and are wondering if there has been any progress on the case. There should be contact details for the immigrant visa unit on their website.

Thank you so much, god bless you. I will have my lawyer send them an email.
