But generally - with the expereince of ppl here on site...

Both parties attend the AOS interview, yes.   Biometrics is not an interview.   The US spouse does not need to go.

Your profile indicates a visa.  Have you changed course?

FYI, there is no correlation between biometrics and interview that can be made

YMMV

Well, the Interview follows the Biometrics.

So I was simply asking what times between did / are ppl experiencing?

It wasn't about correleation, more about a rough average to manage expectations.

Asking for a friend.

The biometrics appointment has NOTHING to do with setting the interview clock.  When the file updates to READY to schedule, then it could be 3 mos. to 2 yrs. depending on local field office backlog.

Thank you - I understand the premise. However regardless of what triggers what - there will still be a trange of times, from which I can get a feeling for the process et al.

As answered above. It's not a trick question. If 10 ppl answered, with 9 saying 3 months and 1 says 2 years, I get a feel for it.

Or am I missing something?

Since you haven't identified the local office,  nobody can answer and everything is a SWAG.  You need come forward with that information first and foremost.

It can be 3 weeks to 3 months (sometimes more) from date of application to biometrics.

An AOS interview in 3 mos?  Not likely in today's environment.

YMMV

Nashville - My friend has an appointment for Bio in the end of July and was simply wandering - what she should expect as an estimate for a gap for interview.

That's all.

According to the USCIS itself,  Nashville is 13 to 27 months from date of application for the I-485

YMMV

:)

I’ve never heard of an AOS case where both parties were not ordered to attend.

@Craggie Bear, Memphis and Nashville have the same processing times according to the USCIS website. However, every now and then, USCIS schedules folks within 90 days of filing. It could be glitch (it's happened before) or it could be that they're catching up with the backlog. No one knows. Just make sure that you are ready when the time comes. :)

Ours took nearly a year after biometrics.   There’s really no connection for biometrics with anything except the AP.
