Oath got rescheduled by USCIS

Hi everyone,

 

Our Oath ceremony got cancelled and they said “because of unforeseen circumstances” they have cancelled the oath ceremony. They said they will be sending another notice with further action including rescheduling of the oath ceremony.
 

has this ever happened to anyone? 
please let us know.

From what I understand this is a standard letter they send out when an Oath is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason. I wouldn't worry about the “because of unforeseen circumstances” wording. 

 

It's likely just that the event was cancelled for everyone that day, or they had too many people, or something similar.
