Where to enquirer about passport and visa

Hi I’m from Singapore and in a really desperate situation and any help will be wonderful. I completed my interview and sent my passport to the US embassy last Wednesday and because of covid, my flight to the US was cancelled and my husband had to book an earlier flight back to the US this Sunday. My passport is with the embassy and its already Thursday and I don’t know if I will get it back by this Sunday and I’m in a situation where I urgently need to make this flight back with my husband I’ve tried calling and emailing them but no one has replied me or answered my call. Is there anyone who has gone through something similar that can help or know any information? Thank you so much

Unfortunately, these kinds of situations are exactly why people are advised not to book any flights until they have the passport with visa is back in their hands.

 

Your and your husband can keep trying to contact the embassy, or possibly your husband can try showing up physically at the embassy to explain the situation. No guarantees this will work, though.

Understood but because it’s an emergency we kind of can’t go back at a later date. But ok we will try this. Thank you for your help! Really appreciate it!
