Hi, has anyone updated the spreadsheet everyone uses? It shows the last update for July was on the 11th. The other months show they were updated on the 25th and 26th. Thanks.

I'm not sure who's updating that sheet, but they're probably not prioritizing it as there are very few updates for us. The number range is a bit off as well. July case numbers are 106769 to 118850 (there are a few sporadic July's outside of this range, but very few)

Total for this range: 2692 Untouched, 100 Approvals, 5 RFESs, 1 RFER, 228 Denials, 162 Expedites(Denied 159 / Approved 1 / Received 2), 85 Withdrawals, 143 Others

How come July has so many withdrawals while other  Months have 1-3 people?

Maybe got tired of waiting and switched to marriage visa. I know that’s what I did. With how long things are going it just didn’t make sense for us to keep waiting and in the end have my partner not be able to work or travel for potentially another additional year-year half on top of the additional time we had to wait.

my partner and I From the beginning wanted to do the marriage greencard, but because of border closure we couldn’t. Now that borders opened back up, and we had our opportunity we switched over. Maybe not necessarily  because of border closure like my case, but I know a lot of couples went ahead and got married.

Did she already come? We wanted to do marriage but country was closed until this April sadly. But now it’s late my attorney said if we were do it it would start all over.

Not yet we recently switched over. And each couple is different. My husband (the beneficiary)  and I had a very long discussion on what would be best for us. He is the kind of man who constantly has to keep his hands busy and actually enjoys working. At first the fiance visa was suppose to be something that would have him with me sooner but it didn't. Now that borders are open, and even if it takes a few extra months, I can visit him while we wait for our approval. Once approved we won't have to worry about waiting  for him to get a work visa or a travel visa. We both knew that it would drive him crazy to be doing nothing waiting to receive work approval..... so for our particular situation we decided that once border opened back up we wanted to get married even if added a few more extra months to whatever would have been our original timeline.

Your attorney is right, you would be starting all over, but it just depends on what is best for y'all relationship. My husband and I just got tired of all the stress USCIS caused. When he comes we want to be able to enjoy married life for a bit and not have to stress over work authorization and travel authorization and adjustment of status etc

Are you allowed to travel here to US while on marriage visa? Yes true he can work right away. Let us know what what is the Waite time for u for marriage visa ? When we applied k 1 visa was faster but now it’s marriage visa which I wish I new at the start.

Unless the partner has another visa they won't be able to travel to the US while waiting for approval of the marriage visa. And yes 😕 Most centers are already processing cases past July 2021 for marriage visa. I would have done marriage visa from the start, but it was because of borders closures that we didn't because it wasn't possible for us to get married. Now that things are open up, we didn't hesitate because its what we wanted from the beginning and never know what could happen.

And I'll keep you updated. My guess is that July filers will hear back before I do for the marriage visa, but in the long run will still be waiting to hear about work authorization and adjustment of status by the time we hear back. But I am hoping for fast responses for everyone, the best of luck!

Request for Initial Evidence was sent today from USCIS.

My Received Date is 2021-06-11 with Notice Date of 2021-07-03. Not sure if I belong to this group or June 2021 filers. But wanting to share regardless.

I'll share with you also once I have the notice on what document(s) they're requesting of me.

Good to hear! You belong in the June 2021 group. Your received date is what USCIS goes by.
