Does anyone know if I can fly to the US for a visit once the I-129F has been accepted? I had flights booked naively thinking it would be through by now but figured I’d fly over for a visit on the flights anyway? Will this impact the process at all?

To expand on this, I mean on an ESTA

I now have my NVC case number and its been sent to consulate, but it was sent to Turkey instead of Armenia which we originally picked, does any one have any ideas why that could be?

I was also wondering what's next now?

I would guess it is for safety reasons since Armenia is at war* right now. Every embassy is different so you should check with them https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/ , but in a nutshell you apply for the DS-160, give the embassy your address, they send you a packet with instructions and you have the interview.

*Or whatever people want to call it now days.

Sorry, I'm bit confused about this part of the process. When am I supposed to apply for DS-160? also when do I need to pay the rest of the k1 visa fee? is it after embassy sends welcome letter or before?
