Can someone help me understand what the politics are between each location that they cant share the load? Its so frustrating to check their website and see that the California Service center is at 14 months now, yet the Nebraska Service Center is at 4 months!! We would all be married by now if our cases were sent to Nebraska. Is there something Im missing here? Is there any way to have the case transfered?

K1 fiance visas are only processed in California, except cases where the petitioner has been convicted of an offense against a minor (AWA / Adam Walsh Act) which are processed in Vermont. The other centers do the K3 and K4 visas for married spouses / dependent children, not K1 - so their processing times aren't relevant.
